Join our advising team as we discuss the requirements for applying to a professional health programme in the UK. We'll highlight common errors that we see students making when first trying to navigate the UK admissions process and provide examples of ways to improve your application. Whether you are applying to physiotherapy, occupational therapy, public health or other allied health fields, we want to ensure the application you submit is the best it can be!
Every year we help around 500-1000 Canadian students with their application to the UK, which means we can provide expert advice to support students through the entire process. This is something we are very proud of - and all the positive feedback from advisers, parents and not least the students themselves is something that makes us always want to maintain the personalised support service we offer.
We would like feedback on our services and our school counsellor portal so that we can improve!
All feedback is therefore gratefully received ❤️
Are you getting asked by your students about what courses they need to apply to the UK? Not sure which universities offer degrees in various subject areas? We can help with all of this.
Book a webinar with one of our student advisors and we will tell you all about what we do and how we can help you as a counsellor (or teacher) when you get questions from students about going abroad for university.
Our student advisors are based all over the country and make local visits to schools in their area and include travel to other areas in the spring or fall when possible, to help reach out to more schools. Whenever possible we would love to visit you on campus and have a chance to meet speak with you and your students face-to face. But we always have extensive experience in hosting online visits if this is preferable for your school or easier to schedule due to location.
This portal is specially designed for you as a school counsellor or guidance counsellor of Canadian students. ere you will find information on the benefits of applying to British universities with the help of Across the Pond as well as our downloadable brochure, information about possible visits to your school, and scheduling in-person or online informational sessions with our student advisers.
Join our advising team as we discuss the desired structure, tone, and content for a personal statement. We'll highlight common errors that we see students making when first trying to navigate the UK admissions statement and provide examples of ways to improve your writing.
I was first introduced to Across the Pond from an online advertisement and later saw a brochure at my University's Career Center. After applying, my life was only made easier. They helped me in finding suitable Universities, completing applications, and perfecting my personal statement. Their support and extremely efficient correspondence was the icing on the cake I needed. I have thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from my time working with Across the Pond. Speaking with friends who didn't use this service, I am certain that I made the right choice.
