Book a Webinar for Counsellors/Teachers

Are you getting asked by your students about what courses they need to apply to the UK? Not sure which universities offer degrees in various subject areas? We can help with all of this.

Book a webinar with one of our student advisors and we will tell you all about what we do and how we can help you as a counsellor (or teacher) when you get questions from students about going abroad for university.

BOOK A VISIT FROM US!

Our student advisors are based all over the country and make local visits to schools in their area and include travel to other areas in the spring or fall when possible, to help reach out to more schools. Whenever possible we would love to visit you on campus and have a chance to meet speak with you and your students face-to face. But we always have extensive experience in hosting online visits if this is preferable for your school or easier to schedule due to location.

The right choice

Study in the UK

I was first introduced to Across the Pond from an online advertisement and later saw a brochure at my University's Career Center. After applying, my life was only made easier. They helped me in finding suitable Universities, completing applications, and perfecting my personal statement. Their support and extremely efficient correspondence was the icing on the cake I needed. I have thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from my time working with Across the Pond. Speaking with friends who didn't use this service, I am certain that I made the right choice.

A very positive experience

Study in the UK

Our experience with Across the Pond and our contact was excellent. The advisor was most helpful with the initial phase of our application. His knowledge and ability to assist us in ensuring our documents were submitted correctly and in the right order and format. His input was very valuable in meeting all the requirements of the applications. The advisor was supportive when we needed him and his feedback was always prompt and helpful.

The process was somewhat confusing for us as the acedemic differences between our University standards were initially hard to understand. Our advisor was very helpful in sorting out and assisting us in understanding what was needed for documents. Overall, we had a very positive experience with Across the Pond. We truly feel it made all the difference for our daughter Amanda and her admission to her University.

An amazing university

Study at University of York

Across The Pond helped me apply to a number of universities in the UK and made the entire process really easy stress-free. They helped not only with the application process but also with what to expect once I was over there and what I should do to prepare. Arriving to York was scary because I hadn’t known anyone at the time. However I was surprised to find a large number of other North American students who also used Across The Pond to apply to York (one even in my program) and we all became really close friends really quickly!

The University of York is an amazing university! It is a beautiful campus, has great teaching facilities and friendly and supportive faculty and staff. The historic City of York is also nearby. The train station in right in the city so there is easy (and relatively cheap) access to travel.

I am so happy that I took this chance, moving half way around the world, for my studies. Across The Pond made the transition quite easy; I’ve made life-long friends, and couldn’t imagine my life anywhere else.
