UWL’s courses are developed in collaboration with industry experts, ensuring that the curriculum is aligned with current market needs and future workforce requirements. Courses are taught by professionals with extensive experience, giving students insight into real-world practices and trends.

The university hosts numerous industry-specific career fairs and networking events, where students can meet potential employers, learn about career opportunities and attend industry-themed talks.

Students are provided with tailored, lifelong careers counselling and support, including career planning, CV writing and interview preparation. The Careers service supports students with finding part-time work, internships and/or volunteering opportunities alongside of study and full-time work after graduation.  

UWL collaborates with numerous local and national charities to offer volunteering opportunities and runs a peer mentoring programme to help students develop skills whilst supporting their peers.

The University of West London has two sites in Ealing and Brentford, connected to each other by a free 10-minute shuttle bus service.  

The location is well-served by public transport, with easy access to central London on the Elizabeth line. The surrounding area is known for beautiful parks and riverside walks.
