Located in the centre of the United Kingdom, Leeds is one of the best cities in the UK to live and study. Our thriving city is perfectly placed so you can easily travel to other parts of the UK and Europe.

Leeds has the largest finance and legal district in the UK outside of London and with such easy access to London, many large organisations locate their offices in the city.

With plenty of nightspots, bars and cafes, Leeds is a student friendly city with many events geared towards the 60,000 students that reside in the city.

As a Canadian student studying in Leeds, you will receive a warm welcome – Leeds is a truly international city with many people from around the world making it their home.

As a Canadian student, you may be able to gain a scholarship of £1,000 to £4,000 off your tuition fees. This will depend on the course you want to do – ask your Across the Pond advisor to find out more.

Still time to apply

There is still time to apply to UK universities for most subject areas! Many UK universities will take applications until late Spring and early Summer. That being said, we do advise you to apply as soon as possible to make sure that you can get an offer.

If you need help with the application process, please do get in touch with us!

January 15th deadline

If you're thinking of applying, consider applying before January 15th! While generally the 15 January UCAS deadline doesn't apply to international students, there are some exceptions and it helps to beat the rush of UK/EU students who will be submitting.

We can help you apply ASAP!

Physiotherapy options in the UK

Physiotherapy is a very popular subject for Canadian students and we'd be delighted to help you apply!  We can help you apply for a physiotherapy program at either the bachelor's or Master's level.  A physiotherapy degree will be transferable back to Canada. If you'd like to learn more, see our Physiotherapy page to learn more about the subject and register for an advisor.

We look forward to working with you!
