As an undergraduate you can expect to find courses encompassing animal behavioral psychology, counseling, forensics and criminology, childhood studies, etc. The sky is really the limit on the combination or concentration you are looking for. You can also see sandwich courses, which means it will be a 4-year degree with a 1-year placement in your third year of study. Bournemouth, Brunel, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Leeds, Middlesex, Newcastle and Reading all offer some type of sandwich course.
The sandwich courses are really invaluable for students who want to get experience outside the classroom, and apply their knowledge before they leave university. As a graduate from a UK university with a psychology degree, you will earn the Graduate Basis for Charted Membership (GBC), which is almost always a prerequisite for postgraduate study in Britain.

It is important to note that in order to study a clinical psychology program in the UK as a postgraduate, you will need to apply for GBC membership.
