A film by University of Hertfordshire postgraduate students Dani Alava and Juan Lozano, The Idea Thief, has been shortlisted in the Short Film Corner at the presitigious Festival de Cannes 2016. The film also received recognition at the Sand Dune International Short Film Festival (India, 2014) in the Animation Category.
