Employees from leading architecture firms will begin a new Architect Degree Apprenticeship at Oxford Brookes University. Oxford Brookes is one of just five universities in the UK to offer to the degree apprenticeship at level 7 - the equivalent of a master’s degree.
The Architect Degree Apprenticeships programme at Oxford Brookes has been developed as part of a new initiative for architecture education offering an alternative, socially inclusive route into the profession. The programme offers firms the opportunity to support their employees who have completed Part 1 training to become registered architects and who want to achieve Part 2 and 3. On completion of the course, apprentices can then apply to become a Registered and Chartered Architect.
The degree apprenticeship allows architecture firms to apply for levy funding to meet the costs of sponsoring graduate trainees.
