7 March 2016

York University is looking for College Tutors for the next academic year. Candidates must be Postgraduate students, and their role involves living in College and provide a friendly face as first point of contact for other students. College Tutors work an average of 15 hours per week, and will also be expected to be on-call for emergencies (on a rota basis).  Students whose degree programme involves significant placements off-campus are not eligible to apply.  A portion of the Tutor’s College rent (up to a maximum of £120/week) will be covered for students that are successfully selected for this role.

Applications open Monday 7 March and are due by 4 April 2016, with interviews between 25 April and 9 May 2016.

If you have applied to York, or are planning to apply, and are interested in this opportunity, contact your advisor today for further details. If you do not yet have an advisor, enquire here and make sure to mention that you are interested in the York College Tutors program.
