As Scotland’s official University for Sporting Excellence, it’s no surprise that eight current and former University of Stirling students were selected to represent Great Britain at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Stirling students Duncan Scott and Robbie Renwick formed part of the team that came second in the men’s 4x200m freestyle relay, winning a silver medal for Team GB. Other sports represented by Stirling students at this year’s Games were tennis, golf and boccia.
