	John C. Borhaug (Managing Director) is originally from Norway and earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism in Britain. He also holds an American MS in Journalism and an MA in Political Science. After filling various communications and research positions with universities and media organizations in the US, Norway, Bosnia and the UK, John set up Across the Pond together with Hannah Liscombe.
	Hannah Liscombe (Managing Director) ) is British and specialises in student development and career counselling both in the UK and the US. Hannah holds a BA degree in American Studies from the University of Wales, Swansea and an American MA in Political Science from Ohio University. Hannah set up Across the Pond with John Borhaug.
	Lauren Spalding (Americas Manager & Student Advisor) is originally from the US, growing up California and Oregon and has been awarded an BA in American Studies from Scripps College in Claremont, California and holds an MA in Linguistics from University College London in the UK, where she currently resides. Having studied abroad on 3 different occasions, Lauren has a solid background in international education and has developed fantastic student advisor skills. As an Across the Pond UK study expert, she has been advising overseas students for the last two and a half years.
	Ashley Chew (Student Advisor) has earned her BA in English at Ohio University in 2005 and subsequently pursued an MA in Literature from the University of Essex in Colchester, from which she graduated from in England in 2009. She considers her experience abroad at the University of Essex to be the most rewarding year of her life so far. Ashley is excited to be one of the UK study experts advising Canadian students preparing to study in the UK.
	Jackie Christopher (Student Advisor) is originally from Pennsylvania and has recently earned a MA in Education with Roehampton University in Richmond, London. Before to this achievement, Jackie studied for three years at Aberystwyth University in Wales where she earned a BA in Education and Fine Art. Whilst studying with Roehampton University, she worked as an International Student Advisor, sharing her experiences as a fellow international student.
	Mara DiTullio (Student Advisor) is from Pennsylvania and has been awarded a BA in Anthropology & Archaeology and History from Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania. Mara pursued her postgraduate degree in London and has recently earned her MA in Museum and Artefact Studies from Durham University in the UK. She has found adapting that to the British educational system offered her an academic challenge and personal satisfaction and reward and. Her experience as an overseas student has built her expertise and satisfaction in guiding other students who wish to apply to leading universities in Britain.
	James Meakim (Student Advisor) currently lives in California, holds a MA in English Renaissance Literature from the University of York, UK. Prior to this achievement James was awarded a BA in British and American Literature from California State University – East Bay, and  studied History for a term with Cambridge University. He feels that his experiences of travelling and studying in England have been priceless, and is thrilled to share his experience of travelling and studying in the UK  with international students, to individually guide and prepare them to study at the best universities in Britain.
	Leah Rogers (Student Advisor) is from New York City, and has been awarded a BA in American Studies at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. As an Across the Pond applicant, Leah aimed for excellence in the cultural sector and chose a MA in Museum and Gallery Studies at Kingston University in London. Leah also has experience in college admissions and student advising sectors which is actually a bonus for being a great student advisor for applicants to universities in England, Wales and Scotland.
